Fingerprinting in Texas

Writes Brandon Harris:

I was forced to submit to the police state yesterday to renew my real estate license! Of course I knew that this was coming, as they announced right after I renewed 2 years ago that all new and renewed real estate licensees would have to provide fingerprints to get or keep a license. Of course I formally objected to the brainless automatons that took my fingerprints. I told them that I resented submitting to the police state and paying $45 to the racketeers in collusion with the state (them!) in order to practice my profession. They did not say a word, but they did look at me like I was from Mars. They kind of looked scared too, like maybe I was going to take direct action. I guess they have never heard anyone object before.
