I just finished watching a news report on medicinal marijuana. At the end of the segment, a federal official is asked about dealing with states such as CA and CO decriminalizing certain use and possession of controlled substances. He said that the administration would be working with local officials on the issue but hoped that they (he means the feds) would be the ones who would end up with the best nationwide legislation.
Once again, the dangers of allowing the feds to “innovate.”
(Of course, I do not favor any local or state law regulating substances either. Decentralized tyranny is still tyranny.)6:50 pm on February 1, 2010 Email Manuel Lora
