Fascistic Canadian Neocon Wants a Statue of Hamilton at the White House

The Canadian fascist David Frum tells “Politico” that if he were president he would erect a statue of Alexander Hamilton on the South Lawn, staring down Thomas Jefferson.

(When Jefferson announced in his first inaugural address his philosophy that “that government which governs least governs best,” Hamilton threw a hissy fit and called the speech “the symptom of a pygmy mind”).

“We need a government of more energy!” Hamilton constantly blabbered to George Washington. As for the Constitution, the intemperate Hamilton screeched that it was “a frail and worthless fabric” after the constitutional convention refused to endorse his plan to place all political power in the nation’s capitol, abolish state sovereignty, install a “permanent president” or king, and pursue empire and “imperial glory.” This is why fascists like David Frum idolize Alexander Hamilton.
