My Mises Academy course, “Networks and the Digital Revolution: Economic Myths and Realities,” began last week, but it’s not too late to sign up! All the lectures and online discussions are archived, so it’s easy to get up to speed. In the first meeting we discussed how much of the “new economy” is really new;¬†why old-fashioned (Austrian) economics is still pretty good; how information is still an economic good, with benefits and costs, produced by entrepreneurs; how information is different from knowledge; the role of property in networks; the impact of the internet on liberty and society; and much more. Come join us!
