Legal drugs, that is, that were supposed to be safe because of the FDA and laws against “bad” drugs. Twenty-three states received shipments of a steroid used to treat back pain that is now linked to a rare fungal meningitis outbreak. Five people have already died. That is five more people than have died from smoking marijuana. The war on drugs is senseless.
