Don’t Do It, Rush

You were viciously defamed, which cost you, and the smears are beginning to backfire. But please don’t resort to suing for libel. That would make you the aggressor in this case, and you’d lose your moral high ground. Those who smeared you should suffer economically and in credibility, but keep the state out of it. After all, your own lies helped bring about the death of hundreds of thousands of innocents in Iraq, and despite this, I certainly wouldn’t want to see you jailed, fined, or sued because of it. So while people lie about you, and you have lied about others, and in this incident it is clear you are the victim, don’t mess up the good will you are getting by turning to a criminal gang to extract money from those who defamed you.
