With the exception of her fellow chickenhawk Newt Gingrich, nobody is a bigger cheerleader/pompom girl for sending other peoples’ children off to die in wars that have nothing whatsoever to do with defending America than Michele Bachmann is. She has adopted twenty-six children but apparently did not participate that much in their rearing since she was an IRS lawyer. Does anyone else think this is, well, weird?
My question is: Does anyone know how many (if any) of Bachmann’s children are/were in the military?
(By the way, unlike Ron Paul, who was drafted into the U.S. Air Force and served as a flight surgeon during the Vietnam War, Gingrich got a deferment and explained that, in his opinion, no one man could have made a difference anyway, so he didn’t go).
