The petty, menacing, busybody government bureaucrats of Highland Beach, Florida apparently don’t think so. There’s a sidewalk that goes for miles along Rt. A1A (Ocean Drive) from Delray Beach, FL to Boca Raton that is a very popular walking/jogging/biking route. Biking through Highland Beach the other day, I noticed that there was a cop parked on the side of the road right in front of one of those portable neon signs that usually say something like “Bridge Closed” or “Road Work Ahead.” This sign read: “No More Than Two Abreast” on the sidewalk.
