Vietnam vets who visited Fort Hood recently were greeted as heroes and told: “You fulfilled a time-honored duty to serve our nation. You deployed to the jungles of Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos to defend freedom and our way of life.”
Someone please tell me what freedoms of mine the U.S. military was defending in the jungles of Southeast Asia.
