They say there’s a billionaire bailout deal, reached during a meeting of a few top people. That’s how Congress works. It’s a machine. The leaders make deals, the troops fall in line and are paid off with loot just like an ancient army.
The opposition to the House Republicans appears to have dissolved as they were thrown a bone in the form of some sort of insurance program. Big deal.
Anyone who votes for this bailout should be declared persona non grata. Beware of House Republicans bearing gifts.
