Conservative Republicans Are Evil Interventionists

Not just RINO, moderate, and regular Republicans. But you already knew that. Ron Paul mentioned in his piece on LRC today that “last week Congress overwhelmingly passed a bill approving a billion dollars in aid to Ukraine and more sanctions on Russia.” He is referring to H.R.4278 and H.R.4152.

The Republican vote on H.R.4278 was 210-19. voting against it was: Justin Amash (Mich.), Kerry Bentivolio (Mich.), Paul Broun (Ga.), Michael Burgess (Tex.), Scott DesJarlais (Tenn.), John Duncan (Tenn.), Chris Gibson (N.Y.), Walter Jones (N.C.), Raul Labrador (Utah), Thomas Massie (Ky.), Mick Mulvaney (S.C.), Bill Posey (Fla.), Dana Rohrabacher (Calif.), Todd Rokita (Ind.), Steve Stockman (Tex.), Ted Yoho (Fla.) and Don Young (Alaska). The other bill was originally passed by the House, with only 23 Republicans voting against it, and then passed by the Senate with an amendment by voice vote. The amendment (S.AMDT.2867), in the nature of a substitute bill, related to U.S. funding of the IMF. It was rejected by just two Senate Republicans: Dean Heller (R-Nev.) and Rand Paul (R-Ky.). Because this latter bill was passed by voice vote, we do not know which Republicans, if any, voted against it.
