Mr. Ostrowski,

My support for Ron Paul’s presidential campaign led me to LewRockwell.com, and I’ve been visiting the site as often as I can for the better part of a year now. The good Dr. Paul not only “cured my apathy” but diagnosed my ignorance, and inspired me to become my government’s worst fear: a student of sound and rational economics, and an ever-more vigorous proponent of liberty.

I can’t thank everyone at LRC enough for your revealing articles and comments regarding the so-called Panic of 2008 (and especially the government’s “final solution”). It’s because of these articles and comments that I’ve been able to articulate well-informed emails to my elected representatives for the first time, and strongly urge them to oppose this appalling confiscation of our wealth–albeit to no avail!
With that said, I especially enjoyed the quote by Mark Twain you posted on the LRC Blog yesterday. After learning that CEO Henry Paulson’s wholly owned 110th Congress have capitulated at last, and begun the hostile takeover as ordered, I was immediately reminded of another quote by that sorely missed sage: “Suppose you were an idiot, and suppose you were a member of Congress; but I repeat myself.”
