On the afternoon Faux News show “The Five” a few days ago the assembled neocons were hand wringing over how to get young people to become Republicans in light of the true fact that with only a handful of exceptions, American universities have become Taliban-like enforcers of left-wing political correctness. A light bulb apparently went off in one of the neocons’ heads that led him to say (paraphrasing): “If a young person wants to make a difference today on a college campus and buck the establishment he should become a libertarian.”
Uhhhhhhh, isn’t that exactly what the hordes of passionate, college-age Ron Paul supporters have been doing for the past six years? And wasn’t it Faux News (as Ron himself has often called it) that joined in the vicious smears of Ron Paul when he was running for he Republican nomination, including omitting him from its first televised debate?
