Church and State in Buffalo

There’s a disturbing article in the News today about what it is to be done with closed Catholic school buildings in Buffalo.

All bad news.

The closings themselves are a clear sign of decline. Not enough children of parents who can afford a good private education, etc.

But then, to add insult to injury, the Feds and their liberal enablers at the University at Buffalo (which institutionally hates the Church), want to make them into low-income housing with local developers getting rich in the process.

Has the Catholic Church joined the corporate state or what?

Every time I hear that the Church is involved with the State in any way, I get sick to my stomach. The closer it gets to the State, the closer it gets to its demise.

Caesar destroys everything he touches.

There was a time when the Church took Caesar down; now the tables have tuned.
