The problem with people like this is that it is usually just American military force that is divinely ordained and any circumstance in which the U.S. uses military force is a proper one. I have dealt with his arguments about liberal clergy in some of my articles on Christianity and war. All I will say now is that a broken clock is right twice a day. And, of course, the writer just assumes that the U.S. government is legitimate.
