A Christian TV host this week called on God to consider a “military takeover” of President Barack Obama’s government because it could be the only way to save the country from tyranny. This website has the video. The video has been taken down elsewhere. The difference between me and this right-wing nut job of a preacher is that I almost felt like calling on God to do the same thing when Bush was in office while he and others like him were praising Bush all the time for his wars and tyranny.
Just to clarify: This was meant to be somewhat in jest. I am not in favor of any military takeover of the government. My point was to merely to point out the hypocrisy of Christians who love Bush and hate Obama even though almost every bad policy of Obama can be traced back to Bush.
