CNN is quoting Joe Biden as saying “we in Congress have to take action to change lives of Americans.” You have, you moral slug! You’ve created a combined warfare/police state, looted Americans to give a trillion or more dollars to your corporate friends, and are in the process of bankrupting the entire nation. You have helped grease the skids for the complete collapse of the American civilization. What else do you have in mind to change our lives?
I am reminded of Anatole France’s observation: “Those who have given themselves the most concern about the happiness of peoples have made their neighbours very miserable.”
