I attended the soccer game between the U.S. women’s team (the Olympic gold medalists) and China at Florida Atlantic University last night. The U.S. team won 4–1. When the teams were introduced on the field, side by side, there was a line of small children in front of them dressed in red and gold soccer outfits. Emblazoned on the front of the shirts of the children was the McDonald’s Golden Arches logo.
