Cato and Peace

My initiation into libertarianism and libertarian thought began at the Cato Institute. I’ll never forget a speech David Boaz gave about the Cato Institute’s mantra “Individual Liberty, Limited Government, Free Markets, and Peace.” “That’s right, many people forget that libertarians favor peace,” exclaimed Boaz. That was 1997. Now it’s 2007. Libertarianism, particularly the DC variety has come a long way baby.
