Carrying Gunpowder through Airport Security

Recently I traveled out of the country. I carried no photo ID, and each time I brought three lighters with me. For whatever reason, the people I was traveling with thought it shocking that the TSA found none of the lighters, despite that I was flagged for extra security due to the fact that I had no photo ID.

That’s really nothing, though, compared to blogger Rhona Mahony, who printed up a fake boarding pass at home and then carried labeled cannisters of sulphur, charcoal, and potassium nitrate through her local TSA checkpoint.

If you still think the TSA provides any kind of useful security, I’m not sure what to tell you.
