The inestimable Robert Higgs, one of the greatest living economists, for a long time has been able to stay away from reading Paul Krugman’s column, but even The Great One finds it is hard to kick the Krugman Habit.
In calling attention to Krugman’s latest attempt to recommend his brand of Spending Prozac for a depressed economy, Bob has done what he does best: expose humbug in all its glory.
While I do feign outrage at the latest Krugman antics, nonetheless I must admit that it is fun, fun, fun to read his rants. Yes, I know that what he is advocating is nothing less than the destruction of civilization, but in these hard and sad times, one needs to find humor wherever it might be uncovered.
