But the Heroine Who IS Named by the MSM

Lew—In your post that mentions a Los Angeles Times article that disses the heroes who eventually tackled the Arizona mass murderer, I noticed something very interesting. The entire article is devoted to a named heroine (Patricia Maisch) who is written about in a very telling manner:

[all emphases mine]

“Maisch arrived at Giffords’ Congress on Your Corner event about 9:30 a.m. Saturday because she wanted to thank the three-term representative for voting for the economic stimulus package. Maisch, who co-owns a heating and cooling company in Tucson with her husband, said the bill gave her incentives of up to $1,500 for each high-efficiency air-conditioning unit she installed, allowing her to expand and hire two employees. “I think [Giffords] is a brilliant person. I think she’s very level-headed, a centrist,” she said.”

Just as Reverend* President Obama shamelessly used the death of the 9-year old girl to praise the fact that she wanted to devote her life to public “service” (“Hey, Public ‘Servant’ Obama, can you bring me another napkin please?”), the Times writers make it a point to emphasize the “positive” attributes of the heroine, i.e., she is for government “stimulus” and she is environmentally-“friendly.”

By the way, “centrist” Giffords is a full supporter of her Congressional colleagues’ ongoing funding of their mass murder in Afghanistan.
