For those of you LRC readers who were born after the Baby Boomers Generation, you might not know the name Hugo Black. Hugo Black was a left-wing Supreme Court Justice. He was also a member of the virulently racist Klu Klux Klan. (I guess the words “left-wing” two sentences back give you a “hint” as to where this post is going.) Ron Paul’s problem is not whether or not he wrote, approved, or even knew of those offensive comments in the newsletter he published over two decades ago. Ron Paul’s “problem” is that he doesn’t support “wonderful” left-wing social and economic government policies (including the drone-bombing of innocent civilians when a left-wing President orders it) nor the fact that the Banksters make hundreds of billions of dollars by printing up money through the Fed so that the government can afford to carry out those “wonderful” left-wing social and economic policies.
