Dan, I find it hard to fathom that anyone could find that hard to fathom. Two ideologically committed interventionists, domestically and internationally, both of whom have nothing but contempt for the Constitution, federalism, etc., and I’m supposed to consider them radically different? I’m glad to hear that some young conservatives recognize what a sham this election is; the disturbing thing is that there are still people like Lowry out there who have apparently convinced themselves — I don’t think he’s just going through the motions — that there’s a big ideological divide out there between our two parties.
Go get those “liberals,” Rich — you know, the ones who agree with you on everything from war on Iraq (Hillary and Kerry were big supporters) to immigration to nationalism. Go get ’em!
