Bush’s tirades as recently reported reveal to me the true character of the entire Bush Administration: abuse, abuse, abuse. Furthermore, this government is an equal opportunity abuser, whether the abuse occurs in Iraq, Gitmo, or the United States.

Anyone who has been treated like a criminal while simply wanting to do nothing more than board a plane may not realize that this simply is another day at the office for the Bushies. It seems to me that the abuse of individuals at the hands of the state has been increasing throughout my lifetime, and anyone who speaks out against it is considered to be a traitor.

Take James Bovard, for example. We used to see his articles regularly on the op-ed page of the Wall Street Journal. I suspect that ever since Bovard started to point out the absurdities and abuses of the Bush Administration, the editors of the “War Street Urinal” see him as personna non grata. I guess they figure that Bovard “stopped preaching and started meddlin’.”
