David Freddoso of NRO has done a superb analysis of how difficult it will be for Rudy Giuliani (or anyone else) to lock up the nomination in the primaries.

Two points. First, it is critical to place hardcore Paulians in delegate slots: people who cannot be intimidated or bought off.

Second, when people tell me Ron Paul can’t win, I always ask two questions. What’s your prior track record for predictions? And, okay, tell me who will win? I never get a straight answer.

Now, if Ron Paul comes into the convention with a plurality, I would think that maybe a rally of say, five hundred thousand people might be called for to close the deal.
