British Snipers

Writes Philip Hensley:

This article reminds me of the propaganda seen during the first World War in popularizing the role of fighter pilots. One particular sentence caught my attention, “There was a British patrol in the village of Gorup-e Shesh Kalay and under the rules of engagement, the walkie-talkie the Taliban pair were carrying was designated a hostile act.” So carrying a walkie-talkie is apparently grounds for having a foreigner come into your country and putting a huge bullet hole in your head.
