Lew, you’re going to have to take down your blog about the study showing some 655,000 Iraqi civilian deaths since the war began. “The Decider” is telling us – in one of his regular televised monologues – that this report is simply “not credible.” He wouldn’t mislead us, would he? Isn’t he the values-driven president, and what grater value than truth-telling?
While all the networks are dutifully carrying his harangue, the local PBS station is presenting a children’s animated program, “Curious George.” As Jimmy Durante used to say, “everybody wants to get into the act.”
