I am reminded, in all the hoo ha of Floyd Landis supposedly testing positive for some banned substance or other (testosterone?), of the 1950s multi-year winner of the Tour de France, a Frenchman whose name I don’t remember, telling reporters, “We don’t do this on salads and mineral water.”
