IndyMac depositors are supposed to remain calm — or be arrested. The police have come to the scene to intimidate people who are watching their savings disappear into the maw of fractional-reserve banking.

No doubt, the police will claim that they are just trying to keep the process orderly, but given that we now live in an official culture of abuse, the line between keeping legitimate order and simply abusing people already has long disappeared.
