A 20-year-old Glendale, CA, man was arrested Thursday after police said he struck an elderly woman in the head with a shovel and then barricaded himself inside his apartment. The man admitted to police that he had been drinking soda spiked with the synthetic drug known as bath salts.
I have been hearing more and more news reports on the dangers of bath salts. But even if this was the most dangerous substance known to man, it still would not justify the drug war. Truly, the drug war is expanding.
