Backfire

Writes Will Blalock: “Lew, my Father (89 yr old WWII vet) was asking me just the other day what I thought of Bill O’Reilly. After hearing him insult Ron Paul, he is now for the first time starting to dislike O’Reilly.

“No one has exposed so many hypocrites since John the Baptist!”

Will, the Ron Paul haters on cable are also going down. Part 39.

Backfire

Last week Howard Kurtz asked, on his Sunday morning CNN show, Reliable Sources (meaning reliable for the establishment), shouldn’t “fringe” candidates be barred from the debates? He asked for email comments. Just now an obviously unhappy Kurtz read three of the typical responses. One man, from Japan, said the people he knew wanted to know more, not less, about Ron Paul. The second described this proposal as an attempt to wreck candidates who were not “bought and paid for.” And the third noted that no caucuses or primaries had been held, and this was the only way for people to evaluate all the choices, and he didn’t want the MSM making the choices for him. Kurtz grumbled that all candidates had to raise money, and so were all in a sense “bought and paid for.” Not quite, Howard, not quite.
