Automated Flu Shot Propaganda

Recently, I wrote about the blu light special mentality concerning flu shots. I noted that Dr. Oz’s website has a page that looks like a billboard for Walgreen’s, with a sponsor message: “Walgreens provides convenient immunizations services – Pneumonia, Shingles, Tetanus, Hepatitis B, Meningitis and Whooping Cough. Protect yourself and your loved ones.” We can expect that list of immunizations to grow and grow over time, as it already has done. This website billboard is in spite of the fact that Dr. Oz’s wife does not get the flu shot, and she does not allow her children to get the junk juice.

Less than a year ago, I wrote this article about being fired by my conventional family doctor. So, on the basis of a primal friend’s recommendation, I made an appointment with his family doctor, as my new doc, so I can get some blood labs run. I was told that while he is not necessarily 100% holistic in his practice, he will be friendly and open to my health and wellness philosophy. As soon as I made the first appointment (and before my first visit), I must have been put into their system because I immediately started receiving automated calls, using the doctor’s voice, to encourage me to come in and get the flu shot as soon as possible!
