The top U.S. military commander in Iraq warns that, if a timetable is established for American withdrawal from that country, chaos will result. I read, on today’s Anti-War.com, that 3 GI’s and 74 Iraqis were killed yesterday alone. Recent daily figues have run even higher. It makes one wonder how the good general defines “chaos.”
I noticed, on today’s cable channel “news” programs, that Rosie O’Donnell has announced her own “timetable” for leaving the television program “The View.” I wonder how much “chaos” this will generate at ABC? Stay tuned to the network channels and find out, as her withdrawal will likely generate far more coverage than will an Iraqi departure.
