One of Daytona’s finest has been fired for demanding free coffee and tea from a Starbucks. Employees reported that Lt. Major Garvin would cut in front of paying customers and threaten slower emergency response times.

Good thing that he was canned for this. But then again, if a uniformed “security” bureaucrat murders an entire family, plugs the dog and destroys the house, he’s likely to get paid leave (or unpaid if unlucky) pending an investigation.
