Christopher is exactly right about fatcats trying to get a hold of the tea party movement. The truth is, contrary to what has been reported, the tea party movement is a genuine bottom up, grassroots movement. The fact that various DC-based groups are trying to control or and trying to claim credit for it, doesn’t change that fact. The WNY tea party movement hasn’t received a dime or an ounce of support from any establishment group or GOP group. The vast majority of our people have no use for the GOP establishment. Nor have I heard a single kind word about George Bush even from our more conservative members.
