I am suing the State of New York, et al., to stop them from handing out cash grants to private firms for “economic development.”
The case is based on the Jeffersonian NY Constitution of 1846.

In law school, we were supposed to like the liberal Cardozo but in my brief, I highlight the good work of his rival Judge Andrews who got the point of the constitutional ban on gifts.
