And the Winners Are…

Triumvirate Charles Schumer, Lindsey Graham, and Barack Obama share the TOTDA (Totalitarian of the Day Award) for pushing biometric national ID cards for all American workers. (Obama also wants DNA taken for anyone arrested.)

The Fourth Amendment is enough to show the unconstitutionality of all such proposals and measures already taken: “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”

As for illegal border crossings, Congress has the constitutional powers “To provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions; To provide for organizing, arming, and disciplining the Militia…” But the last thing that the triumvirate wants is to recognize the Second Amendment: “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”
