Ben Bernanke’s Princeton colleague, Alan Blinder (who really is appropriately named) exhorts people to lay off the Fed chairman because he is just trying to save the rest of us. However, it seems that Blinder gives us a Freudian slip as he writes about the Fed’s “bag of tricks.”

Yes, pull a rabbit out of the hat. These guys really believe that flooding the world with dollars will save economies around the globe, and if you don’t believe it, then shut up. And leave Ben alone!
