A reader informs me that United Airlines was letting military people board the planes first along with the 1st class passengers. Then there was an announcement upon landing welcoming service men and women and thanking them for all they do for the country. Another reader, who is in the military (but doesn’t want me to thank him for his “service”), said that he was in DFW airport when drones of soldiers walked through the terminal and were applauded.
I really think this warped love of the military is increasing. The more wars we get in the more it seems to increase.
