After 28 years hiding in Sweden, David Hemler, who deserted (resigned his job) from the Air Force in 1984, has come forward. He became disillusioned from the military and went AWOL and becoming a pacifist.
In this age of war and empire, the military needs many more David Hemlers. Better yet, don’t enlist in the first place.
