How busy they are conserving the noble and great from the past, the permanent things, all the beauty and art and ideas that have stood the test of time, those institutions that transcend the generations, like really bad pop music from the Reagan era: Iron Maiden and Powerslave in particular.
“Stuck in the 60s” was how we used to characterize the left. “Stuck in the 80s” just about sums up this aging bunch.
