After 95 Years, the Fed Promises to Come Clean

Cato Institute celebrity essayist Ben Bernanke promises that, at long last, after 95 years, the Fed is beginning to become more transparent (although it has still never been audited).

But if central banking has always been “in the public interest,” Ben, why are you just now promising to let the public in on what you’re up to?
