Those who saw in Iran’s rapid vote count proof-positive of election fraud must be thrilled with the Afghan elections! Surely the two week (so far) delay in announcing results just reinforces the accuracy of the count. Right, guys?
And they are almost ready to make the big announcement: Karzai won’t have to bother with a run-off. Thankfully that took a good two weeks of careful and diligent vote counting! The US government’s investment in Afghan democracy is paying big dividends! As soon as Obama takes out those evil Iranians peace and democracy will reign from the Mediterranean to Urumqi.
