A Storm Hits NYC, So the NYT Claims It’s Due to ‘Global Warming’

The Storm of the Century that wasn’t isn’t anything like the Hurricane of 1938 that devastated New England or the powerful Hurricane Donna, which I remember from my childhood more than 50 years ago, but the New York Times continues to spout the “global warming” mantra. That’s right; a minor hurricane now is being called a “harbinger of things to come.”

A few years ago, a political science colleague of mine at Frostburg State told me that had Al Gore been elected, there would have been no Hurricane Katrina because Gore would have stopped global warming. And he was dead serious. That is what passes for “intelligent conversation” and “intelligent journalism” these days.
