“A Return to Economic Sanity”?

Writes David Bergland, 1984 LP candidate for president:

I very much enjoyed your talk at CPAC [part 1, part 2] as reported in the article on LRC. Loved the tone — as radical as the message. How sad that common sense and Austrian economics (or do I repeat myself) are viewed as “radical.”

Here’s a bit of good news. I was in my local Barnes and Noble and noted a prominently placed display of books on the current economic crisis. Your book had two separate slots, in the top row, each for holding several copies. Only one copy was left in each slot, which I read as meaning that several had already sold that day. And it was early in the day. Warmed my heart.

Your work, along with that of Dr. Paul and the rest of the Austrians, may just pull off the miracle of a return to economic sanity in America. Many of us appreciate it and it’s nice to have the opportunity to tell you that.
