A New Low for Faux News: Defending Rapists

Yesterday’s “Fox and Friends” morning show stooped to a new low for the Faux News Network. The discussion was about a NY Times article that interviewed several American military women who claimed to be molested and raped by fellow soldiers in Iraq. One of them apparently made it all up since she was never in Iraq. The two guys on the show — the obnoxious, hyperactive Bush administration bootlicker who does sports on the show and the goofy weatherman — jumped all over this and bent over backwards to argue that ALL of the women must therefore have been lying.

The woman sitting in between them had a different take, as one would expect of any self-respecting woman: It’s a shame, she said, that this one woman’s credibility is so dubious, for it will inevitably cause people to wonder if the same is not true of all the other women. If so, then nothing will be done about all this criminal behavior taking place in the land of National Greatness Conservatism. Her comment temporarily halted the foaming-at-the-mouth, defend-Bush-no-matter-what antics of the two male bimbos on the show.
