A New Low for Christians on Voting

I thought I had read and seen it all when it comes to Romans 13, but now, in an editorial in the magazine Israel My Glory, Christians are told to vote because we should obey the powers that be because of Romans 13. Has there every been a command by the federal government that all Americans must vote or even register to vote? Of course not. So how do you obey a command that was never commanded? See my work on Romans 13 here and here.

Here are two more pieces of nonsense from the article:

“High on the list of blessings God has bestowed on free societies is the right to participate in government.”

“We have the ultimate weapon in the arsenal of the free: the right to vote.”

Conservative Christians are obsessed with voting—as long as you vote Republican and not “throw away” or “waste” your vote on the Constitution or Libertarian Parties.
