A List of the Next Banks to Fail

For an explanation of what this list is, please see my previous post on the subject.

This is an updated list of every bank in the United States, and the corresponding Texas Ratio for each, sorted from high to low.

Banks with ratios near or over 100 tend to collapse pretty quickly, although it’s not unusual for banks with ratios above 50 to collapse. Generally, the higher the ratio, the harder and faster they fall.

The data comes directly from the FDIC’s website, and the formula I use is in my original post. The FDIC hasn’t released anything since 6/30/09, so this is Q2 2009 data. It won’t be possible to produce anything that is more up-to-date until they release another quarter of data.
