The website ARAlifestyle.com has a headline informing us that “Obama will give you $2,500 a year to go to school.” What a generous man! Monarchs of old contented themselves with tossing a few coins to the rabble as their carriages rumbled through the streets. The current god-king is prepared to recycle money taken from the recipients of his largesse with, no doubt, the same expectation of gratitude from the multitudes that attended rulers of yore. That the amounts involved exceed the earlier sums may be attributed, no doubt, to an increased rate of inflation!
